Get Involved!Do you know how to have fun? If so, we need you! People who can help foster community connections for individuals who are mentally challenged are in demand. We need dynamic individuals to support others as they enjoy and access the community at large. Do you like to hike, fish, shop, dance or go to the movies? Do you have special skills you would like to share? Do you like to cook, craft, sing, paint, play music, dance, or exercise?
At Link Associates, our mission, "Providing people with disabilities opportunities to achieve their personal goals" is supportedd by volunteers from our community. Socialization and being part of the community is an important feeling for everyone. Through your volunteerism you can help the people we support take a more active role in our community. The level of involvement is totally up to you. The main requirement of a Link Associates volunteer is to care about others and the desire to make a difference in someone's life. |
