52nd Annual Pancake
Festival
Where
do you find 1500 happy people eating pancakes? The
52nd Annual Pancake Breakfast served that many people on
Saturday October 21, 2006. The 52nd festival marks an
unparalleled record of support to Link Associates by local
Kiwanis Clubs. The labor and all but a small amount of
food are donated and the event has no administrative or fund
raising costs. Over 350 volunteers from six Kiwanis
Clubs along with staff and Board of Link Associates donate
their time to prepare and serve the meal.
Entertainment is donated by local talent and helps make this
day a fun filled family event.
Numerous local businesses pledge sponsorship and all TV,
radio and newspaper advertising is donated to the event.
