What is Happening at
Link?
Link
Associates hosted a Donor Celebration/Grand Opening on
October 12, 2006 to celebrate the end of a two year
fundraising campaign. The support we have received
from our community is incredible, and the contributions
resulted in changes that will significantly affect everyone
supported by Link. This event celebrated and honored
those who recognize and respond to the lifelong needs of
some of our most dependent neighbors. Sometimes the focus
of the community and the media is on the needs of children
yet thankfully, our donors supported people of all ages
including those whose needs increase with age.
Governor Robert Ray and Mike Tousley, President of the Weitz
Company served as the fundraising Co-Chairs. Working with
the Link Foundation and the Board of Link Associates they
reached out to community business partners, corporations,
foundations and individuals to raise the funds necessary to
update the fleet and redesign and rebuild the entrance and
south portion of the building.
